Custom Training Programs
Are you training for a specific goal and not sure how to get there? Want to bring some real purpose to your riding?
Maybe you feel like you need a little extra help to reach your goals or prepare for an event, or have been going really well on your training rides and building up your distance and are ready to extend yourself a bit further.
Now would be a great time to get a custom training program!
A custom training program will set specific training exercises for you to do in your bike sessions during the week to focus on various elements of your fitness - for example, S/E (strength-endurance) efforts to build leg strength, which will help make you a stronger climber.
Similar to the format of a gym program, the sessions are set out for you, and allow you to have a real focus and purpose in your bike sessions - working towards short, medium & long term goals.
As they say, it's all about "quality, not quantity"!
All customised training programs include:
The program starts with an Initial Consultation (allow 1 hour, in person or via Skype call) during which we will discuss your current cycling and fitness habits, work and life commitments, and the goal targets you have in mind. Information from this session is then used to design your program for the first month - then it is up to you to put in the work and make the results happen!
Price for Monthly Custom Training Programs:
Initial Consultation (includes first month) $150.
Ongoing monthly fee $100, paid in advance (1 month = 4 weeks).
In-person consultations regarding program design/changes or skills training sessions are $50 per half hour, as required.
* All prices quoted are inclusive of GST. Prices valid until 31st Dec 2024.

- Designed around your work and life commitments - so that your cycling is sustainable and your work & relationships don't suffer too much as a result!
- If requested, ride route suggestions are provided to take the hassle out of planning.
- Inclusion of an Strength & Stability exercise planner in your weekly program - a crucial part of your training.
- Suggestions of other fitness/gym activities to complement your cycling fitness training.
- Ongoing email contact with your coach (me) for advice and feedback on the program and any other cycling questions you might have
- Access to the Bike it Better online knowledge-base full of useful articles and information to help you meet your goals.
- Your program is updated monthly, and can be amended as required if need arises.
